I’ve always considered myself an Eclectic, because I’ve always felt drawn to different pantheons. When I first discovered my path I was sure that Frey and Freya were my patron God and Goddess. I’ve always loved cats and Her personality fit perfectly with me. Besides, I had a twin brother (who sadly died the day after we were born), so I kinda related more with them. I also felt a great respect for Odin. Runes just felt perfect for me too.

But then, I remembered the great appeal Egyptian mythology and its Gods and Goddesses had had on me when i was only a child. I kept drawing Anubis, and to this day neither me nor my mum can remember where I got a drawing of him or something to copy him! And obviously again cause of my love of cats, I loved Bast! I’ve been feeling this was the right Gods for me, thus my nick here. Besides, I’ve gotten a lot of “signs” that eld me to the Egyptian pantheon. I received a lot of Ankh jewelry from my mum and husband, and not because I asked them for it. I also saw an old woman in the street carrying a bag with an Horus Eye on it! I mean, what are the chances?! (I live in a very small city, with not too many Pagans, so it is very rare).

But now, I’m kind of feeling Freya’s… influence? call? I don’t know how to call it. Thing is, I’m both kinda confussed cause I’m not totally sure they’d like my changing between Bast and Freya / Anubis and Frey. Like they’ll get angry at me or something. I’ve never been good at meditating, but I’m sure that’s kinda the only way I can sort of connect with them and realize what to do.
